Multi-Platform MMORPG Kryxivia - Lead Environment Artist

In-engine walkthrough of the Kryxivia Capital designed in Unity. Features gameplay-driven environment art with distinct zones for Trading, Banking, and Skill Training to support the MMORPG economy.

Under-the-hood look at the Dungeon environment running in the Unity Editor. Note the Real-Time Statistics window [Time: 0:05], demonstrating stable FPS and optimized draw calls/polycount maintained within strict WebGL budgets.

PvE Dungeon and Boss Arena: A combat-focused environment. I balanced atmospheric, claustrophobic tunnels with a spacious Boss Arena layout, specifically designed to accommodate camera movement and cooperative fight mechanics.

In-Game Context: The Dungeon Gateway asset integrated into the final level environment, showing real-time lighting and VFX. (See below for high-fidelity asset breakdown).

Modular Prop Kit (Custom): Optimized set dressing assets I modeled and textured specifically for the WebGL client. Utilizes a shared texture atlas and strict polygon budgets to minimize draw calls while maintaining visual readability.

Multi-Platform MMORPG Kryxivia - Lead Environment Artist

Kryxivia is a fantasy MMORPG that is accessible both as a WebGL browser game and a native Windows client. The project is built on the blockchain, integrating unique Digital Asset Ownership (NFTs) and a robust cooperative gameplay ecosystem.

++Key Responsibilities:

- Technical Leadership & Scalability: Managed the entire environment art pipeline for multi-platform delivery. Successfully achieved extreme optimization goals to allow the game to run in a browser while maintaining high visual quality for the native client.

- Performance Budgeting: Owned the visual performance, aggressively reducing draw calls and managing LODs, texture memory, and geometry optimization for smooth FPS across both platforms.

- Web3 Integration: Designed environments and assets in alignment with the game's core loop, understanding the visual implications for items that players would extract as unique NFTs and trade on decentralized marketplaces.

- Environment Production: Led the creation of all fantasy zones and dungeons, from grey-box layout to final polished levels, ensuring aesthetic consistency across all biomes.

- Pipeline Management: Collaborated effectively with the programming team using GitHub for asset integration and version control.

📌 - Asset Breakdown:

- Level Design, Lighting & Composition: 100% Custom (My Work).
- Props (Tents, Crates, Terrain): Custom modeled & textured.
- Architecture (Houses): Sourced from Unity Asset Store (optimized & re-textured for cohesion).
